It is this time of the year again when the United States Presidential elections are around the corner. And it is time to consider and think through who to vote for: Republican or Democrat?
Before going into details, I must confess that I have been the supporter of Republican party ever since I landed in United States in 1998, because of their policies and ideals...those days, there was not much difference between the respective policies of Republican and Democrat parties...because, despite their differences, at the end of the day, both parties agreed to disagree and put country before self interests.
But alas, now while the Republican party has been pretty much same all these years, the policies of Democrat party drifted aside further and further away for their originality. This party is no longer the party of Franklin Roosevelt or John F. Kennedy...everything started to change during the tenure of Lyndon Johnson and further changed during Bill Clinton and Barack Obama presidencies.
Now, forget about current president Donald Trump for a while. Because, it is not about the candidates but about what the individual party stands for.
Just think about this:
The top 25 worst cities in United States are Democrat-led.
The top 10 cities for homelessness are Democrat-led and these are sanctuary cities, which offer refuge to illegal immigrants and do not cooperate with federal law enforcement among other things...In this group are Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
The top 10 most-dangerous cities are Democrat-led, according to Forbes. These cities are Detroit, St. Louis, Oakland, Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Baltimore, Stockton, Cleveland and Buffalo.
But, this is according to last year's report. Now, the most dangerous cities are New York, Chicago, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis and Baltimore.
Though we cannot directly link between the above incidents and the party, just think why the states and cities which were led by Democrats for so many years, have not prospered but kept getting worse and worse.
I am listing down the reasons here, why one should not vote for Democrat party, in no particular order...
1. Is it OK to have open borders between United States and Mexico, where people can come over to this country illegally?
2. Is it OK to shelter these people who crossed over to this country illegally and provide sanctuary using taxpayers money?
3. Is it OK to provide driving licenses to these illegal immigrants?
4. Is it OK to provide voting rights to these illegal immigrants?
5. Is it OK to provide health care to these illegal immigrants using the taxpayers money?
6. Is it OK for drug dealers human trafficking to cross over to this country and smuggle drugs and people?
7. Is it OK for colleges to give admission to illegal immigrants?
8. Is it OK for colleges to provide scholarships to illegal immigrants and NOT for legal immigrants?
9. Is it OK for homeless people to increase in your cities and camp out in parks and open areas?
10. Is it OK for cities to reduce police manpower?
11. Is it OK for criminals to get out of jail without bail?
12. Is it OK for protesters to riot and damage public property, loot businesses and topple statues and monuments?
13. Is it OK for people to splash water on police, damage their vehicles or try to run them over?
14. Is it OK for people to shoot and kill police?
15. Is it OK for people to come over to your property and you cannot/ should not defend yourselves?
16. Is it OK if the government take your guns and rights to second amendment?
17. Is it OK for illegal immigrants to commit crimes and murder people and you cannot/ should not deport them?
18. Is it OK if the government sanctions higher taxes to your income?
19. Is it OK if the government involves in your lives and decides for you which medical insurance to take or how to live?
20. Is it OK if the government follows socialist agenda? Think about countries like Venezuela, how the nation which was so rich in resources and everything became bankrupt and in poverty within 20 years of socialist rule.
21. Is it OK for having different rules for Conservatives and Liberals:
a. If you are a Conservative, then you are deemed guilty until proven innocence. Else if you are a Liberal, you are deemed innocence until proven guilty.
b. If you are a Conservative, then your freedom of speech is suppressed. While if you are a Liberal, you can say whatever you want, even joking about President's death, killing him...etc.
22. Is it OK to impeach the President of United States just because he belongs to different party and the House has majority?
23. Is it OK to impeach the President of United States just because you don't like him?
24. Is it OK to impeach the President of United States without any facts just because you can?
25. Does only Black Lives Matter? Don't you think All Lives Matter, Blue Lives Matter, Baby Lives Matter, etc?
These are just some of the points that I can think on top of my mind now. I will keep adding as I remember them.
You will be surprised that Donald Trump is NOT a racist, sexist, misogynist, xenophobic etc. etc. which the Democrats claim him to be...
You don't believe when I say that there are many African-Americans who support Donald Trump...there are African-Americans in his staff and cabinet...his advisors and support staff consist of mostly women...you do your research...
Democrats don't have any solutions to the problems that we are facing today...they all have the same playbook...if they don't have anything else to say, they call their opponents as racist or anything that comes to their mind.
Like I have mentioned above, I have been supporter of Republican party even though I am not eligible to vote yet. During 2008 elections, I supported the Republican party candidate as usual and my democrat friends labeled me as racist.
What? Just because I don't support the person who is African American automatically makes me a racist?
Similarly, during 2016 elections, I supported Donald Trump. As usual, my democrat friends wasted no time and labeled me as sexist and misogynist...what the heck? Just because I don't support the person who is a woman, makes me a sexist and misogynist?
Come on people, don't see the background of the candidate...let the candidate be a man or woman, white or black etc. Check their credentials...their capabilities...their policies...their vision for United States of America and its citizens...
You must have understood by now, why Democrat party presidential candidate has chosen Kamala Harris as vice-presidential candidate...because, if Donald Trump or Mike Pence or anyone from Republican party try to attack her, the Democrat party can quickly call them as racist, sexist and misogynist...not because she has qualifications to be a vice-president...her record/ history during her tenure as Senator or Attorney speaks for themselves.
Let's talk about Joe Biden...he has been a politician for 47 years...and has been a Senator as well as Vice-President under Barack Obama for two terms...that is 8 years...and no one seems to know what his achievements are during his entire political career...what he was known for...what he will be remembered for...he may be a good guy, good husband, good father etc...but he cannot be tough when it matters and cannot stand his ground against the big bullies like Iran, North Korea, Russia and China...
Think it this way...you all are familiar with NFL games...as an offensive guy or defensive guy, you have to be tough on the opposition players...if you are too good of a guy and soft, the opposition players will stream-roll upon you...right? This country does not need a good guy to be the President...this country needs a tough and brash guy who can stand up against other leaders of the world and take tough decisions if required.
Barack Obama was a small time Senator and former community organizer before he was propelled and promoted as a President...do you know that his wealth has increased more than 20 times by the time he finished his two terms as the President (including his salary of $400,000 per year). Can anyone explain that?
Bernie Sanders also has been a politician for almost 50 years...and Senator...again, no one seems to know what his achievements are during his tenure in office...he keeps pushing his socialist agenda and cries about inequality of wealth...do you know that he has at least 3 houses...all high-priced...he has never donated a cent to any charity or to anyone...and he wants to promote socialism...nobody seems to understand that socialism destroys people, communities, and the country...take for example, our southern neighbor...Venezuela...20 years ago, it is one of the richest nations in South America...now, its people are facing poverty and many have become homeless...
Have you ever heard of company/ business called Burisma? This is an Ukrainian energy company...And what is its connection to Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden? Hunter Biden has served on the board of directors for this company even though he did not have any background/ experience related to energy or experience as a businessman. So, how did he get selected to the board of directors? And why did he get paid as much as $50,000 per month? Yes, per month...this is almost an yearly salary for most of the Americans...Simple, because he is the son of then Vice-President of United States of America, Joe Biden...
Donald Trump has been a businessman all his life before he decided to run for President of United States...he made money with his different businesses...of course, he filed for bankruptcy once or twice...but he did not become a billionaire using other's cash-for-play like other politicians did like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden...these people did not work their entire life and don't know what it is to run a business let alone running a country...by the way, do you know that Donald Trump has been donating his entire salary to charity ever since he became the President. And take a look at his children. His sons and daughters were managing his businesses now and did not get selected into any other company's board of directors just because their father is the President of United States.
Bottom line is, in this age of technology advancements where information is always available at our finger-tips, it is easy to get misled. If more people keep saying the same lie again and again, people listening to them tend to believe that it is the truth. With so much bias in the media and hatred towards Donald Trump, news networks like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS etc. tend to broadcast lies all the time against Donald Trump...I am not saying this because I support him...I am asking you to do research, investigate and come to the conclusion...and not to blindly believe what others are saying (about anything).
Mark my words, right now Republicans are holding the majority in the Senate and thus were able to thwart many efforts from Democrat party to impeach the President or pass un-necessary bills/ laws. If Democrats win the majority in Senate after this election, the first thing they will be going to do is to impeach Donald Trump again and try to remove him from the office, without any proof or evidence, without any trails or witnesses and without any legal proceedings...they don't have any policies that helps in betterment of the lives of American citizens...all they do is to start baseless investigations into non-trivial things and wasting taxpayers money and time of other congress members and senators...so it is important to win majority both in the House as well as in the Senate...that way, meaningful and useful bills can be passed and enacted...which benefits the American citizens of this and that of the next generation.
So, everyone stay safe and healthy during this covid-19 situation and hoping that Donald Trump becomes the President of United States again and the Republicans win both the House and Senate majorities...and also in the future elections as well.
